Andhra Kabaddi Association General Secretary gets grand welcome on return from Asian Games

Andhra Kabaddi Association General Secretary Srikanth Yalamanchili received a warm welcome from association office-bearers at Gannavaram airport on his return from the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. He served as a jury member for kabaddi, his second such international assignment after the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain in 2025.

Hyderabad: Srikanth Yalamanchili, General Secretary, Andhra Kabaddi Association (AKA), was accorded a grand welcome by the Executive Members of the Association at Gannavaram Airport (Vijayawada) on Tuesday upon his return from the Asian Games held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Srikanth had the distinction of being nominated as a Jury Member for Kabaddi at the Asian Games by the Asian Games Organising Committee through the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI). His participation in this prestigious international sporting event is a matter of great pride for the entire Andhra Kabaddi fraternity, the AKA officials said.

Ravindra, Director, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP), congratulated Srikanth Yalamanchili on this significant achievement and appreciated his valuable contribution towards the promotion and development of Kabaddi at the international level.
