Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet reshuffle is on the cards and it is likely to be taken up after the present budget session of the Assembly.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was said to have broached the topic at the Cabinet meeting held to approve the budget here on Friday.
He had recalled that at the time of forming the Government, he had announced that the Cabinet would be reconstituted after two and a half years to give opportunity to others. Those who were now in the Cabinet would be entrusted with other responsibilities and they should take it as a fine opportunity to look after party affairs and meet people on a daily basis, he stated.
Jagan had felt that those who serve the party would grow to become top leaders which would be helpful to the party as well. And when they win by popular vote, they would be roped in in the Cabinet, he had reportedly pointed out, according to sources.
