Ongole: YSR Congress Party leader and former legislator from Darsi in this Prakasam district, Sanikommu Pichi Reddy, died here on Thursday. He was 73.

Pichi Reddy was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly twice on the Congress ticket –in 1989 and in 1999.

He was ailing for some time and was undergoing treatment in a hospital here. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon.
