Andhra Pradesh: Ex-MP Sabbam Hari dies of Covid

Sabbam Hari was elected as Member of Parliament from Anakapalle in 2009 elections

Visakhapatnam: Former Member of Parliament of Anakapalle, Sabbam Hari, died of Covid here on Monday. He was 68 and is survived by two daughters and son.

Hari was under home quarantine after contracting the virus on April 15. He later joined a private hospital on the advice of doctors. However, his health deteriorated due to infection and was put on a ventilator and breathed his last in the afternoon. Hari was also earlier Mayor of Visakhapatnam. He enjoyed both the positions–Mayor and MP as a Congressman.

In the last elections, he defected to Telugu Desam Party and contested unsuccessfully from Bheemunipatnam Assembly constituency.
