Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Central Crime Station police arrested P Suresh Babu (39), a techie from Vijayawada, on charges of cheating his colleagues to the tune of Rs 3.7 crore in the guise of borrowing loans for him in their names and failed to repay them. He was absconding for the last two years, police said.
Police said Suresh Babu induced six of his colleagues and made them take personal loans from banks for him, promising to repay them along with commission as well. He transferred the money to his wife’s bank account and diverted the funds and cheated them, police said.
