Hyderabad: The EAGLE Force of the Telangana Police caught a man for using drugs at a prime gated community at Nanakramguda in the city on Saturday.
According to the police, Sudheer Reddy, a resident of Nanakramguda and a native of Andhra Pradesh, had reportedly consumed drugs after purchasing it from some peddlers. It is learnt, Sudheer, son of an MLA from Andhra Pradesh, was previously caught twice for using drugs.
On specific information, the EAGLE team went to his house located at Nanakramguda and conducted a test on him. The man tested positive for consuming drugs. He was taken into custody and shifted to the station.
“Sudheer’s family doctor took him after assuring that the man would be admitted to a de-addiction centre. Sudheer will have to undergo treatment at the rehabilitation centre and we will monitor the process,” said an EAGLE team official.
