Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved the proposal for amending the Cinematography Act to enable the online sale of cinema tickets.
Briefing reporters after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday, Information Minister Perni Nani said prominent among other decisions taken were amending the Endowments Act with respect to temple lands and lease of shops, setting up a vigilance and security wing in Endowments Department, and making 75 per cent attendance mandatory for ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme.
The Minister revealed that the Cabinet decided to adopt a resolution for taking up the BC Census since Census based on communities was not done after 1947.
