Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to set up care centres for the children of parents who are away in hospitals undergoing treatment for Covid-19.

In the event of parents unable to recover and the disease proving fatal, the orphaned children will be provided shelter at the centres and taken care of. The government
has decided to set up the care centres in all the 13 districts and appoint special officers to supervise them.
