Amaravati: Consequent on the Andhra Pradesh High Court giving the green signal for announcing the results of the MPTC and ZPTC elections held on April 8 in the state, the State Election Commission will take up counting of the votes on September 19 and declare the results on the same day.

Counting will begin on Sunday at 8 a.m., following COVID protocols and no victory rally will be allowed, according to officials.
