Andhra Premier League from June 9

The tournament promises to showcase top talent from across Andhra Pradesh and elevate the profile of domestic cricket in the region

The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) is poised to inaugurate the highly anticipated Andhra Premier League (APL) on June 9 in Visakhapatnam.

This year’s tournament will feature seven teams competing in a round-robin league format across three cities – Visakhapatnam, Kadapa,
and Mangalagiri.

The official APL schedule was released by Mr. Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Chairman of the APL Governing Council.

The teams which are in the fray are: Bhimavaramu Bulls, Royals of Rayalaseema, Vijayawada Sunshiners, Amaravathi Royals, Simhadri
Liions, Thungabhadra Warriors and Kakinada Kings.

The tournament promises to showcase top talent from across Andhra Pradesh and elevate the profile of domestic cricket in the region.

Matches will be held at world-class venues in the three host cities,offering fans across the state the opportunity to experience
high-quality cricket up close, according to an ACA media release.

All teams are practicing in different venues across the state.

The event will be held under the able guidance of ACA President Mr.Kesineni Chinni and Secretary Mr. Sana Satish Babu.

The ACA invites media representatives, cricket enthusiasts, and stakeholders to cover and support the event as it kicks off on June 9.
