Hyderabad: Andhra took the vital first-innings lead against Puducherry in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (Under-23) cricket championship third-round match at Anantapur on Tuesday.

For Andhra, K S N Raju scored a handy half-century (55) and also claimed three wickets.
