Visakhapatnam: The Andhra University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Intellectual Property Talent Search Examination (IPTSE) Academy to promote IP culture in academic institutions in the state.

Under the MoU, IPTSE and Andhra University as a state IPR nodal agency, will conduct workshops, seminars, webinars, and training programmes to faculty members and students, and also prepare them for the IP Olympiad examination and offer internships.


AU Vice-Chancellor PVGD Prasad Reddy said that the university was making it mandatory to file IP application for PhD students to begin with.
