Hyderabad: Deeksha, a product of MSK International Cricket Academy run by former India wicketkeeper and also ex-BCCI Senior selection committee chairman, has been selected to represent the India under-19 women’s cricket team.

“This is a moment of great pride not only for Deeksha and our academy but also for the Andhra cricket fraternity. To celebrate this remarkable achievement, Deeksha was felicitated at the premises of Academy in the presence of coaches, players, parents, and well-wishers,” MSK Prasad said.

Prasad was full of praise for Deeksha’s sincerity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the game.
He recalled that Deeksha joined the academy at the age of eight and has since shown tremendous growth, both as a cricketer and as an individual. Her selection to the national team is a true testament to her hard work, perseverance, and dedication over the years.

“Apart from being an accomplished wicketkeeper-batter, Deeksha has also excelled academically. The academy strongly believes that education and sport must go hand in hand to ensure the holistic development of every player, and Deeksha stands as a shining example of this philosophy,” MSK Prasad said.

Replying to the felicitations, Deeksha expressed her gratitude to all the coaches who have guided and supported her throughout her journey. She also acknowledged the invaluable encouragement and sacrifices made by her parents. She assured everyone that she would give her very best to make her academy, Andhra Pradesh, and India proud through her performances on the field.

The entire academy fraternity congratulated Deeksha on this outstanding achievement .
