Guwahati: The Andhra Senior Women’s cricket team has progressed to the quarter-finals of the BCCI Senior Women’s One Day Tournament following a hard-fought victory over Jammu & Kashmir women’s cricket team in the group stage at Guwahati.

Topping Group D, Andhra secured their quarter-final berth by winning four of their six matches against competitive sides, including Mumbai women’s cricket team, Himachal Pradesh women’s cricket team, Tamil Nadu women’s cricket team, Jharkhand women’s cricket team, J&K and Gujarat women’s cricket team.


Andhra will face Rajasthan women’s cricket team in the quarter-finals at Chandigarh on 23 February.

Under the captaincy of Anjali Sarvani, the team displayed determination and skill throughout the campaign. The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has played a pivotal role in supporting and nurturing the squad, contributing to their success.

This year marks a historic milestone for Andhra cricket, with teams across all age groups reaching the knockout stages, underscoring the ACA’s consistent development efforts. The quarter-final clash promises exciting action as Andhra extends its strong run.
