Anesthesia postgraduate student found dead at NIMS Hyderabad under suspicious circumstances
Anesthesia postgraduate student Nithin was found dead inside Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad on Friday morning. Police have launched an investigation, and the body has been sent for autopsy. Cause of death will be determined after forensic analysis.
Hyderabad: An anesthesia postgraduate student was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here on Friday.
The student has been identified as Nithin, who had reported for duty on Thursday night. On Friday morning, hospital staff discovered him lying unconscious inside the operation theatre. Despite immediate attempts to revive him, he was declared dead.
On receiving information, the Punjagutta police reached the spot and took up investigation.
The body was shifted for autopsy to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Officials said further details would be known after a detailed inquiry and forensic report.
