There’s an unlikely pair that’s turning heads in Hollywood – ‘Maleficent’ actor Angelina Jolie was spotted leaving an Italian restaurant with ‘Save Your Tears’ singer The Weeknd in Santa Monica, California recently.
“The pair reportedly spent hours at the restaurant, before leaving separately to avoid raising suspicion,” The Sun stated.
According to E! News, the pair could have bonded over their shared love for Ethiopia. The Weeknd’s parents are from Ethiopia, while Angelina adopted her 16-year-old daughter Zahara Marley from the east African country. The Weeknd had also pledged to donate $1 million to the country amid the Tigray conflict.
Coming to the rumoured date night, Angelina sported a black top and a beige trench coat along with nude pink heels whereas The Weeknd kept it simple in a denim outfit and boots. Various other sources reported that it is likely the stars could have just met for business purposes.
However, Angelina, 46, and Weeknd, 31, are both currently single. Angelina was previously married to Hollywood icon Brad Pitt, while Weeknd has been in an on-and-off relationship with model Bella Hadid. He also briefly dated singer Selena Gomez.
