Animal watcher injured in wild boar attack in Asifabad
An animal watcher was injured after being attacked by wild boars while tracking animals in a forest in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district. He was rescued by colleagues and shifted to a hospital. His condition is reported to be stable.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: An animal watcher sustained injuries when a sounder of wild boars attacked him while he was tracking wild animals in the forests of Agarguda village in Penchikalpet mandal on Tuesday.
Forest officials said that the animal watcher Katela Sagar received injuries to his hands and legs when the sounder of boars attempted to gore him. His colleagues managed to rescue him and alerted the officials, who in turn shifted Sagar to a hospital in Kagaznagar. His condition was said to be stable.
A native of Agarguda, Sagar has been employed with the Penchikalpet forest range for quite a long time. He is engaged in watching wild animals, in particular tigers, in the forest. His family members expressed concern over his safety while discharging his duties in the wake of the attack.
