Annual Day fete: Numerical journey enthralls students
The theme for the Annual Day was ‘Orbis Numerus- One Universal Language-Numbers’ which was presented meticulously and creatively by the students.
Students of classes V and VI of DPS Nacharam celebrated their Annual Day function with enthusiasm on February 8. Principal Sunita Rao and senior headmistress I Sudha welcomed the guests and the audience.
Addressing the gathering, the principal praised students and teachers for their determination to conduct the Annual Day on the online platform and emphasised that regardless of the place ‘the show must go on’. Senior Headmistress then presented the annual school report of classes V and VI and listed the achievements and milestones of the students from these classes. School chairman M Komariah encouraged students to display their creativity in all spheres.
Chief guest of the event was Priyanka Varghese, the Indian Forest Service officer who is posted in the TS Chief Minister’s Office as OSD to the Chief Minister. In her speech, she emphasised the responsibility of students towards their parents and also towards the nation.

The programme showcased a numerical journey from numbers 1-10 and a combination of art forms represented each of these numbers. The performances included varied forms of dances, musical genres, oration, drama, art and craft.
