Another tiger attack suspected, calf killed in Asifabad
A buffalo calf was killed, allegedly by a tiger, when it was grazing in the forests near the Cheelapalli village in Sirpur (T) mandal on Friday. The attack by the tiger which was elusive for the last few days triggered panic among villagers.

Sources said the calf died after being attacked by the tiger, which allegedly mauled Morle Lakshmi (21) to death at Easgaon village in Kagaznagar mandal before attacking Rauthu Suresh at a cotton field at Dubbaguda village in Sirpur (T) mandal recently. The shepherd informed locals about the incident.
The locals expressed concern over the safety of cattle moving in the forests following the attack and requested Forest officials to take steps to prevent cattle killing by the tigers.
Forest officials were yet to confirm whether it was a tiger attack.
