Anti-drugs and anti-narcotics squads would be selected by teachers and students in the colleges to keep an eagle eye on the movements of suspicious persons near the educational institutions.

He reminded us that the State government was working with a target of turning Telangana into drugs and ganja free-State. Every person had a responsibility to turn the goal into reality. He also instructed the police officials to keep a close watch on tea stalls, hotels, industrial areas, abandoned buildings and labour addas, which would be chosen as places for selling drugs. He warned that stringent action would be taken against those who would involve in the transportation and sale of drugs and ganja.

Stating that people would come to police stations with a lot of hope of getting justice, he directed the police officials to behave respectfully with them and instill confidence in them that their issues would be resolved. Then only, police would get a good reputation in the public, he added.
