Playing intense roles like that of a lawyer has become a new trend in the entertainment industry. Several actors like Pawan Kalyan in ‘Vakeel Saab’, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar in ‘Naandi’, Faria Abdullah in ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ and Rakul Preet Singh in ‘Check’ have taken up the role of a lawyer in Telugu cinema in the recent past.
Well, now, adding to the list of on-screen lawyers is actor Anu Emanuel who, according to sources, will be donning the black coat for the first time.
Mostly seen in glam roles, the actor will be seen playing a serious role with a substance for the first time in the movie ‘Maha Samudram’.
The posters and trailers of the upcoming film have kept the audience waiting for its release. The film will see lead actors Siddharth and Sharwanand in violent avatars. What led them towards violence is something that fans are keen to know.
Actor Aditi Rao Hyadri is playing Siddharth’s lady love in the film. The makers say that the film revolves around her character ‘Maha’. Veteran actors Rao Ramesh and Jagapathi Babu are also seen playing pivotal roles.
Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, ‘Maha Samudram’ is set to release on October 14.
