Hyderabad: The teaser for Paradha, starring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role, was unveiled by Dulquer Salmaan on Wednesday.
Directed by Cinema Bandi fame Praveen Kandregula, backed by Raj and DK and produced by Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV and Sridhar Makkuva under Anand media, the film promises an engaging and captivating storyline.
The teaser begins with a voiceover questioning Subbu (played by Anupama Parameswaran) about spending ₹70 lakhs to travel a long distance solely to end her life.
Subbu embarks on an adventurous journey alongside two companions: Malayalam star and Hridayam actress Darshana Rajendran and veteran actress Sangeetha Krish.
While the journey appears thrilling, Subbu hides her true intentions, masking her face with a “paradha.”
As the journey unfolds, Subbu loses her way and the teaser transitions to a voiceover urging her to “complete the task you are meant to complete.”
The story hints at Subbu confronting age-old traditions and superstitions in her village, seemingly on a mission to challenge and change them.
The teaser concludes with Subbu revealing her look, where Anupama stuns with her confident portrayal, exuding strength and determination.
