Guntur: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced Rs. 3 lakh to the families of each of the six migrant labourers from Odisha who died in a fire accident at an aqua farm here on Friday.

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday directed the officials to disburse the amount and also arrange payment of compensation by the management of the aqua farm.


The six migrant labourers who were fast asleep after the day’s work in a shed, were charred to death when fire broke out in the premises on Thursday.
