AP govt to set up IT research University in Visakhapatnam
The proposed university aims to provide the students the necessary IT knowledge and skills through constant updates on the advancement of technologies
Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to set up an IT Emerging Technologies Research University in the city. This is part of its plans to make Visakhapatnam as a major IT hub with already several IT companies evincing interest to establish their units here.
The proposed university aims to provide the students the necessary IT knowledge and skills through constant updates on the advancement of technologies.
It would reach a memorandum of agreement with international and national IT organisations and extend new courses to the students from time to time. The university will introduce regular, part-time IT diploma, and masters degree courses.
