Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cybercrime police arrested a youngster from Andhra Pradesh on Friday on charges of harassing a woman by posting her pictures and contact details on social media with abusive comments.
The arrested person, M Sheshu Venkata Krishna (20), a degree student from Guntur, suspected that his brother-in-law was having an extramarital affair with the victim, and decided to defame her through social media. “He got the victim’s pictures and contact number and posted them on Facebook with derogatory and abusive comments,” said an official. Based on a complaint from the woman, the cybercrime police booked a case and with the help of technical clues, identified and nabbed Venkata Krishna.
