Tadepalli: Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has directed officials to complete all pending `Nadu-Nedu’ works in schools in the state before August so that schools could be reopned from August 15.
Addressing a review meeting at his camp office here on Wednesday, he asked them to prepare a Rs.16,000 crore budget for works under `Nadu-Nedu’. The teachers should be trained on workbooks from July 15 to August 15.
On the implementation of the new education policy, he said students should be provided quality education through educated and skilled teachers. There should be all amenities and the number of teachers should be in proportion to the students. No school should be closed and not a single teacher should be sacked, he said, directing the officials to prepare the new education policy proposals within a week.
Jagan also said that an action plan should be chalked out to complete vaccination of all teachers before August 15 as the school would be reopened anytime after that date.
