Hyderabad: Since the launch of the Covid vaccination drive, Apollo Hospitals Group has administered Covid vaccines to 2 lakh people in Telangana and 1.5 million across the country, according to a press release.
Apart from vaccinating at its hospitals in Telangana, Apollo Hospitals has also conducted multiple outreach mega camps in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar and Bhadrachalam districts, a press release said.
As part of the initiative, the hospital has developed a mass vaccination centre with a capacity to deliver 25,000 jabs per day at HICC, Madhapur. Frontline workers, employees in essential industries, housing colonies including the maids and helpers, IT professionals and a host of other citizens are benefitting from this initiative.
Currently, Covishield and Covaxin are being administered and in the next couple of weeks Sputnik vaccine too, will be available.
