Apollo Cancer Centres’ Dr Vijay Anand Reddy receives Padma Shri from President Murmu

Dr P Vijay Anand Reddy, Director of Apollo Cancer Centres and Founder of the CURE Foundation, received the Padma Shri award from President Droupadi Murmu at the Civil Investiture Ceremony in New Delhi for his significant contributions to cancer care and oncology.

Hyderabad: Cancer specialist and Director, Apollo Cancer Centres, Dr P Vijay Anand Reddy received the Padma Shri award from President of India, Droupadi Murmu, during the recent Civil Investiture Ceremony held in New Delhi.

Dr Reddy, who is also the Founder of CURE Foundation, in a statement expressed his gratitude for the honour and said, “This recognition is not merely a reflection of my individual journey, but a tribute to the tireless dedication of the entire oncology fraternity, my colleagues, mentors, patients, and family, who have stood by me at every step.”


“I dedicate this recognition to my patients, especially the children and families whose courage and resilience continue to inspire me every single day,” he added.
