Apollo Medical College holds graduation ceremony for UG, PG batches
Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, held its graduation ceremony for the 2020 undergraduate and 2022 postgraduate batches. A total of 141 students received degrees, while outstanding students were honoured with gold medals.

Hyderabad: Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad, hosted the Graduation Ceremony for the students of Undergraduate Batch 2020 and Postgraduate Batch 2022, with 97 Undergraduates and 44 Postgraduates receiving their degrees on Saturday.
Since its inception in 2012, over 700 students have graduated from The Apollo Medical College, Hyderabad and more than 90% of the Alumni from the college have secured postgraduate seats in different medical colleges of the country and residency programmes abroad.
The Dr Pratap C Reddy’s Gold Medal for the best outgoing Undergraduate student was awarded to Maya Devi Kocherlakota of UG batch 2020 and Postgraduate student was awarded to Dr Samudrala Kavya, Department of General Medicine. Dr K V R Prasad Memorial Gold Medal was awarded to Vellore Sarvan Sri Ramya.
In his address, renowned cardiologist Dr B Soma Raju told the graduating students that medicine is a privilege, a responsibility and an obligation. “Practice with courage, humility and wisdom,” he said. Shiva Rama Krishnan, CEO, Apollo Knowledge, Dr K Manohar, Dean, AIMSR and Aparna Reddy, COO, AIMSR, also addressed the students.
