Hyderabad: Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 8 to 12, with the event primarily held online while also featuring a special in-person gathering at Apple Park on the opening day.
The tech giant said WWDC26 will bring together developers from around the world for a week focused on connection, exploration and innovation.
The conference will highlight major updates across Apple platforms, including advancements in artificial intelligence, along with new software and developer tools.
WWDC will begin with the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union on June 8. Throughout the week, developers will have access to over 100 video sessions, along with interactive group labs and appointments where they can connect directly with Apple engineers and designers.
The sessions will be available through the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website and Apple’s YouTube channel, as well as the Apple Developer bilibili channel in China.
“WWDC is one of the most exciting times for us at Apple because it’s a chance for our incredible global developer community to come together for an electrifying week that celebrates technology, innovation and collaboration,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations.
The special in-person event at Apple Park on June 8 will allow selected developers and students to watch the keynote, meet Apple engineers and designers, participate in labs and connect with the global developer community. Attendance will be limited and interested participants must submit requests through the Apple Developer website.
Apple also highlighted its Swift Student Challenge, aimed at supporting young developers. Winners will be notified on March 26, while 50 Distinguished Winners will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience.
Further details about the conference will be shared through Apple’s developer platforms and social media channels ahead of the event.
