AR-VR lab inaugurated at govt ITI in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: An Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR-VR) lab has been established in the government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Karimnagar.

The lab, which was set up with MPLAD funds, was inaugurated by the union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

The AR-VR lab method of teaching was introduced in ITI colleges across the country under the National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI).

Earlier, this method was introduced in five states which included Assam, Maharashtra, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh. Students can learn and practice their courses such as electrician, wireman, welder, fitter, mechanical and tuner trades in the AR-VR lab.
