Armed Reserve ASI dies in road accident in Medak district

Armed Reserve Assistant Sub-Inspector N Prasad, 57, died after his car skidded off the Narsapur-Medak road on Sunday night. He was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad after first aid but succumbed to his injuries early Monday.

Medak: Armed Reserve Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (AR ASI) N Prasad died in a road accident in Medak district. Prasad (57), who was travelling to Medak from Hyderabad in his car, sustained injuries when his car skidded off the road on the Narsapur-Medak road on Sunday night.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad after receiving first aid at a local hospital. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in the early hours of Monday.

Expressing shock over the death of the senior police officer, Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao extended his condolences to the bereaved family members of AR ASI Prasad. He also assured them of support. The police registered a case.
