Kothagudem: The mobilisation of the district armed reserve force concluded at the district police headquarters here on Friday. Reserve Inspector (Admin) Lal Babu acted as the platoon commander for the de-mobilisation parade, organised with five platoons. DSP (AR) Satyanarayana explained activities undertaken during the fifteen days.
Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju, speaking after receiving the salute from the personnel, advised them to be disciplined and to serve the people by performing their duties responsibly. The mobilisation programme would provide physical fitness as well as mental happiness, he said, adding that the parade reminded him of his training days.
He assured the police personnel that steps would be taken to address the problems faced by them at personal, family and departmental levels. He appreciated the officers who organised the de-mobilisation parade.
The SP presented medals to 260 police officers and staff from the district and congratulated them. The medals were recently announced by the State government to them for their distinguished services in the police department.
Later, he felicitated ASI Sarvaiah of Yellandu police station, ASI Nizam Ali of Manugur police station and SI (AR) Om Prakash Mishra of the Armed Reserve Division, who retired from their services on Friday. SB CIs Nagaraju and Srinivas, Home Guards RI Narasimha Rao, MTO Sudhakar, Welfare RI Krishna Rao and others were present.
