Army jawan from Khammam dies in Kashmir valley, body to reach Khammam today
Sepoy Banoth Anil Kumar, a 30-year-old army jawan from Khammam, died in an accident during patrol duty in Kashmir. His body will arrive in Vijayawada before being taken to his native village Surya Thanda for military funeral.

Khammam: An army jawan from Khammam died in an accident in Kashmir valley. Sepoy Banoth Anil Kumar (30) of 23rd Maratha Light Infantry met with an accident while he was going on patrol duty in an Army vehicle on Monday morning.
The body of the jawan was expected to reach the International Airport, Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, from where it will be taken to his native village Surya thanda of Perupalli gram panchayat, Singareni mandal in Khammam.
A military funeral would be conducted after the arrival of the body at the thanda. A pall of gloom descended on the thanda following the death of the jawan. Wyra BRS leader Lakavath Giribabu extended condolences to the family of the jawan.
