Arnav, Humera win, to play for Hyderabad Strikers

Hyderabad: Arnav Pathange and Humera Baharmus emerged champions in men and women’s categories at the talent day event on Sunday. The winners and will join the likes of Vishnu Vardhan, Arjun Kadhe and Ankita Raina in Team Hyderabad Strikers for the third edition of the Tennis Premier League to be staged at the Celebration Club, Andheri, from December 9 to 14.

The losing finalists M Vineeth and Rishika Sunkara will join Bengaluru Spartans.

Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman A Venkateswar Reddy distributed the prizes.

Results: Men: 1. Arnav Pathange (Finecab Hyderabad Strikers); 2. M Vineeth (Team Bengaluru Spartans);

Women: 1. Humera Baharmus (Team Finecab Hyderabad Strikers); 2. Rishika Sunkara (Team Bengaluru Spartans);

Girls U-18: Sanjana Sirimalla (Team Finecab Hyderabad Strikers); Boys U-14: 1. Darshan Reddy (Team Finecab Hyderabad Strikers); 2. Pranav Rethin (Bengaluru Spartans);

35+ Category: 1. MD Vijay Anand (Team Finecab Hyderabad Strikers); 2. G Raja (Team Bengaluru Spartans);

Teams:

Mumbai Leon Army: Ramkumar Ramanathan, Niki Poonacha, Sofia Shapatava;

Delhi Binny’s Brigade: Yuki Bhambri, Manish Sureshkumar, Peangtarn Plipuech;

Chennai Stallions: Purav Raja, Sidharth Rawat, Samantha Murray Sharan;
