Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based fashion designer Aruna Goud is the only Indian designer who showcased her collection at the London Fashion Week, as part of the Fashions Finest AW22’s unique showcase. The event was held at the St John’s Church, Hyde Park, on February 19. Fashions Finest is “a diverse and inclusive platform for UK and international graduates and emerging designers”, and one of the “most sought after and popular show” during London Fashion Week, UK, since 2010, as the website claims.
A businesswoman and well-known fashion designer from the city, Aruna has her own label/brand called ‘Almara by Aruna Goud’. Founder of the India Glam Fashion Week, Aruna is known for bringing out Indian heritage into her collection.
