Hyderabad: ASIFA India celebrated International Animation Day 2025 at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium, bringing together over 1,100 students, educators, and industry professionals for a day-long celebration of animation, VFX, and gaming.
The event had the participation of industry luminaries, including Ashwin Kumar, Director, Mahavatar Narsimha, Sesha Prasad, Head of DNEG, Rajat Ojha, CEO of Gamitronics, and Upmanyu, award-winning filmmaker, alongside Sanjay Khimesara, President, ASIFA India, Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti, Vice President, ASIFA India, Vinita Bachani, VP – Operations & Outreach, ASIFA India, and heads of sponsoring colleges.
The day featured four power-packed sessions from leading industry experts, offering invaluable insights into the world of animation and VFX that included a session on ‘The Journey of Mahavatar Narsimha’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD – VFX’, ‘AI and the Future of CG’ and ‘Crafting Award-Winning Stories’.
