Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The body of a youngster, who accidentally drowned in a waterfall at Chintala Madara village in Tiryani mandal on Sunday, was fished out Monday.
Tiryani Sub-Inspector P Rama Rao said that the body of Prathap Chowdary (17), a polytechnic student from Mandamarri was traced in a pond at the waterfall. The search operation, which was suspended on Sunday evening due to darkness, resumed in the morning. Expert divers found the body, which was handed over to parents of the youngster.
In the meantime, the body of another teenager who drowned in Pranahita river on Saturday was traced at Gudem village in Chintalamanepalli mandal on Monday. The deceased was Salman Malik (21) belonging to Uttar Pradesh. He met a watery grave when was taking a dip in the river.
