Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Four persons including two women were booked for allegedly forcing a woman to end life at Andugulaguda village in Bejjur mandal, on Friday. Bejjur Sub-Inspector D Sagar said that the accused were Alam Vilas, his father Shyam Rao, mother Shantha, and sister Shankaramma. The four were booked for abetting the suicide by Alam Vinoda (25), the wife of Vilas, based on a complaint received from her mother Erma Budabai.

Vinoda attempted to commit suicide by setting herself ablaze after dousing kerosene all over her body as she was unable to bear alleged harassment of her husband and in-laws on February 8. She was immediately shifted to a hospital, but succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment on February 25.
