Asifabad government school student secures NMMS scholarship
Jabari Shivaprasad, a Class VIII student of Zilla Parishad High School-Areguda in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, has secured the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship. The farmer’s son is the first student from the school to achieve the scholarship.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A student from a government school in the district has secured the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) by excelling in a state-level examination.
Zilla Parishad High School-Areguda headmaster Parsha Chandrashekhar, in a statement, said that Class VIII student Jabari Shivaprasad was selected for the scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum till he completes Intermediate. Shivaprasad, the son of a farmer, is the first student from the school to secure the scholarship, inspiring others.
Chandrashekhar congratulated the student and advised other students to draw inspiration from him. He was all praise for the teachers and parents of Shivaprasad for extending support and encouragement. Shivaprasad thanked the headmaster and teachers for providing guidance and motivating him to excel in the examination.
