Asifabad: Section 144 of CrPC lifted partially in Jainoor
Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao, in a statement, said the curfew was lifted from 9 am to 5 pm considering requests made by the public.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code or 163 of Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) was partially lifted on Monday in Jainoor mandal centre, which was hit by communal clashes in September.
Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao, in a statement, said the curfew was lifted from 9 am to 5 pm considering requests made by the public. He, however, stated that rallies and processions were prohibited in Jainoor.
Six cases were booked against the protesters who allegedly torched commercial establishments during the protest in Jainoor mandal centre on September 4. Subsequently, 35 persons were apprehended for their role in the communal conflict so far. Internet services in Jainoor, Lingapur, Sirpur (U) and Kerameri mandals were still suspended.
