Asifabad shines in Intermediate II year, stands second in Telangana

The district achieved the top spot with 3,339 students out of the total 4,199 students appearing for the examinations passing and the district registering 79.52 pass percent

Adilabad: The backward Kumram Bheem Asifabad district improved its performance and stood in the second position in the Intermediate second year exams of which results were declared on Tuesday.

The district achieved the top spot with 3,339 students out of the total 4,199 students appearing for the examinations passing and the district registering 79.52 percent of pass as against 72.06 percent in 2024, cheering the officials and students from the district. It appeared in fifth place in the results of the course in the last year,


Speaking to ‘Telangana Today‘, District Intermediate Nodal Officer Kalyani attributed the success of the district to the action planning prepared by the higher officials and special classes taken by lecturers. She stated that the district fared well in the results despite certain challenges in government junior colleges. She added that efforts were on to put at the top spot in the results in the future. Similarly, 3,693 students out of the total 5,211 students from Nirmal district passed in the examinations, reflecting a pass percentage of 70.87 when compared to 66.17 percent in 2024. The district got the 10th place in the results in the state.

Adilabad district was found at the 12th position by recording 69.57 percentage of pass when compared to 65.75 percent in previous year. A total of 5,550 students passed out of 7,978 students who appeared for the examinations.

Meanwhile, 4,968 students from Mancherial district appeared for the examinations. Of them, 3,371 students cleared all the subjects, indicating a pass percentage of 67.85 as against 59.53 percent posted in 2024. The district stood at the 21st place in Telangana.

Nirmal

Total students appeared: 5,211

Students passed: 3,693

Pass percentage: 70.87

Students passed: 5,550

Pass percentage: 69.57

Position in state: 12th

Pass percentage in 2024: 65.75

Mancherial

Total students appeared: 4,968

Students passed: 3,371

Pass percentage: 67.85

Position in state: 21st

Pass percentage in 2024: 59.53
