Asifabad SP urges people not to trust rumors over shortage of fuel

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: SP Nitika Pant has urged people not to trust rumors over shortage of fuel, while stating that the district had sufficient stocks of both petrol and diesel.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Nitika Pant said that people were getting worried and were swarming fuel filling stations to purchase petrol and to fill tanks of vehicles following rumors of shortage circulated on social media platforms.
She stated that the district had no scarcity of the fuel. She advised the consumers not to buy fuel more than required, which would result in inconvenience for others.
The Superintendent further requested the public not to believe in rumors and unconfirmed news that claims the district was facing scarcity of fuel.
She clarified that the district was having enough stocks of both petrol and diesel.
She stated that stern action would be taken against those who circulate fake news and trigger panic among the public. The police cautioned action against those who illegally store the two oils and fleece consumers.
