They said that the tiger sighted at an eco-bridge near Goyagaon village in Wankidi mandal on NH 363 indulged in the attack. They stated that they were now hesitating to harvest the cotton crop, following the movement of the tiger. They requested officials of the forest department to take steps to prevent human loss.

The Forest officials said that they were tracking movement of the tiger by installing CCTV camera traps and deploying animal trackers. They advised the villagers to avoid sudden confrontation with the tiger and not to venture deep inside of the forests. They urged farmers not to harm the tiger by setting electrified fences meant for preventing damage of crops by wild animals.
