Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Raj Gond Seva Samithi district president Komram Manthaiah termed the assault against foresters by tribals as false.

Komram Manthaiah, in a press statement issued here on Wednesday, said that the officials of the forest department were blaming the villagers for evacuating them from the forest fringe village. He stated that they would lodge a complaint with Finance Minister Harish Rao who was scheduled to tour the district on Friday.

The district president regretted that the foresters were not allowing dwellers of forest fringe villagers to enter the wild for collecting firewood. He stated that it was unfair to level allegations against tribals who were known for the forest cover as assaulters. He opined that none has the right to evacuate tribals who reside in scheduled areas.
