Hyderabad: “AI will not replace doctors in the future, but doctors who know how to use AI will surely replace doctors who can’t,” remarked Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, chairman of AIG Hospitals, here, on Saturday.
Participating in the ASPIRE Foundation Day event at the School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH), he stressed the vast opportunity for professionals from diverse backgrounds — including life sciences, social sciences, humanities, health care management, and computer science — to drive this revolution.
In another significant development during the event, ASPIRE signed a MoU with HDFC Bank. Under this initiative, ASPIRE has launched the EcoInnovate programme, a dedicated effort to support startups working in sustainable chemistry, waste valorisation, the circular economy, and smart/alternative proteins.
Through this programme, selected startups will receive mentorship, business model guidance, go-to-market strategy support, and financial assistance of up to Rs 10 lakh.
