Guwahati: A person has been arrested with more than 344 kg of cannabis in Assam’s Udalguri district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said. In a post on X on Wednesday, he said that in an anti-narcotics operation by the Udalguri district police, 344.38 kg ganja worth Rs 1.72 crore was seized. “A delivery that never reached its destination!” Sarma said. He added that one person has been apprehended and lauded the efforts of the police.
