At 51 years, Madhavan hits the gym to say goodbye to ‘dad bod’
The 51-year-old actor is all set for a transformation as he wants to ditch his ‘dad bod’.

Hyderabad: It’s been over 8 months since you made a New Year resolution to focus on your fitness, but have you kept it? If you’re still looking around for motivation, take a look at Tamil superstar R Madhavan’s latest set of gym pictures he posted on Instagram.
The 51-year-old actor is all set for a transformation as he wants to ditch his ‘dad bod’. Maddy captioned the pics along with many heart and laughing emojis, “Dad bod be dammed.. Maddy boy is inching back.. (sic).”
Maddy won the hearts of several of his fans including celebrities. Shilpa Shetty commented on Maddy’s post, “So proud of you @actormaddy Go Maddy go (sic).” “Oh Man I miss this gym!” commented actor Tanuj Virwani on the post. While Regina Cassandra left a laughing emoji, Rohit Roy wrote, “Killer bro! Truly !!!! Sending u a cool diet to follow woof woof (sic).”
In August, Madhavan had shared an unseen picture with his son on the occasion of his 16th birthday. “Thank you for beating me at almost everything I am good at and making me jealous yet, my heart swell with pride. I have to learn so much from you my boy. As you step into the threshold of manhood, I want to wish you a very happy 16th birthday and hope and pray that you’re able to make this world a better place than we are able to give to you. I’m a blessed father (sic),” he had captioned it.
Coming to his film projects, Madhavan is looking forward to the release of his directorial debut film, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’. The biographical drama film is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who was accused of espionage.
