Atanu Das and Gatha Khadake win national archery titles in Hyderabad
Atanu Das of PSPB and Gatha Anandrao Khadake of Maharashtra won the overall 70m recurve individual titles at the Senior National Archery Championships in Hyderabad. Maharashtra topped the women’s team events, while RSPB claimed the mixed team crown
Hyderabad: Atanu Das of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and Gatha Anandrao Khadake of Maharashtra won the overall 70m recurve individual titles in the Senior National Archery Championships at the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, here on Thursday.
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda gave away the prizes.
The results: Recurve – Men:
70m overall: 1. Atanu Das (PSPB) 684, 2. Tarundeep Rai (Sim) 684, 3. Sukchain Singh (SSCB) 682.
Individual Olympic Round: 1. Bommadevara Dhiraj (SSCB) 6-0, 2. Parth Sushant Saunkhe (Maharashtra) 0-6, 3. Agastay Singh (Haryana) 7-3.
Team: 1. Maharashtra, 2. SSCB, 3. RSPB.
Recurve – Women:
70m overall: 1. Gatha Anandrao Khadake (Maharashtra) 673, 2. Deepika Kumari (PSPB) 668, 3. Madhvi Chauhan (UP) 664.
Individual Olympic Round: 1. Shravari Somnath Shende (Maharashtra) 6-2, 2. Anshika Kumari (Bir) 2-6, 3. Gatha Anandrao Khadake (Maharashtra) 7-1.
