ATM heist in Shamshabad: Burglars decamp with Rs 32 lakh cash
Burglars allegedly used gas cutters to break open an Axis Bank ATM at Satamrai in Shamshabad and escaped with around Rs 32 lakh in cash. Police have registered a case, collected forensic evidence, and are examining CCTV footage to identify the suspects.

Hyderabad: Burglars targeted an Axis Bank ATM at Satamrai in Shamshabad on the suburb and reportedly decamped with around Rs 32 lakh in cash in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to preliminary information, the burglars entered the ATM centre after midnight on Monday and used gas cutters to break open the ATM machine. After accessing the cash compartment, they allegedly removed the money and fled from the spot.
The theft came to light after customers found the machine damaged and informed the bank officials.
On receiving information, the Shamshabad police immediately reached the location and inspected the spot.
A CLUES team also visited the spot and collected forensic evidence that could help establish the sequence of events and identify the suspects.
The Shamshabad Police are now examining CCTV footage from the ATM and surrounding areas to trace the movements of the burglars and determine their escape route.
Officials are also gathering information on the exact amount of cash stolen and checking whether the offenders had conducted a prior reconnaissance of the location.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to identify and nab those involved in the ATM break-in.
